Criminal mischief

800 block of Hospital Road: A man reported at 3:44 a.m. Sunday that someone spray painted his apartment.

Thefts

3000 block of U.S. 31: A man reported at 7:03 p.m. Friday that someone broke a window on his vehicle and stole a computer tablet.

500 block of W. Adams Street: A man reported at 11:50 a.m. Saturday that someone stole his engine crane.

400 block of E. Main St.: Police responded at 4:46 p.m. Sunday to a report of burglary.

Shoplifting

Von Maur, 1251 U.S. 31 North: Police responded at 4:34 p.m. Sunday to a report of shoplifting.

Thefts

400 block of Legacy Boulevard: A woman reported at 8:26 a.m. Saturday that someone smashed a window on her car and stole her purse.

3000 block of Reflection Court: Police responded at 9:09 a.m. Saturday to a report of theft.

1000 block of Monteray Drive: Police responded at 7:41 a.m. Sunday to a report of theft.

800 block of Granada Court: A woman reported at 11:46 a.m. Sunday that someone smashed in her window and stole her vehicle’s registration, proof of insurance and owner’s manual.

Rural King, 890 U.S. 31: Police responded at 3:44 p.m. Sunday to a report of theft.

Battery

1200 block of Freemont Lane: Police responded at 9:47 p.m. Thursday to a report of battery. A man was arrested.

2200 block of Village Crossing E. Drive: Police responded at 8:09 p.m. Sunday to a report of battery. A man was arrested.

Theft

Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 1300 U.S. 31 South, Franklin: A man reported at 4:54 p.m. Saturday that someone stole a purse and wallet from his father’s vehicle.

Attempted crime

Smith Valley United Methodist Church, 5293 Old Smith Valley Road, Greenwood: A man reported at 7:59 p.m. Saturday that someone attempted to break locks on the church.

Chase Douglas Witt, 23, 4332 E. Cragmont Drive, Indianapolis; arrested on an out of county warrant, criminal trespass and theft/receiving stolen property; held without bond.

James Daniel Carrico, 27, 64 N. 6th St., Apt. 4, Beech Grove; arrested on charges of auto theft, theft/receiving stolen property, burglary, an out of county warrant, leaving the scene of a property damage accident and resisting law enforcement; held without bond.

Vincent Chappelle, 47, 59 Maury St., Nashville, Tennessee; arrested on an out of county warrant; held without bond.

Christopher A. Bedwell, 31, 4377 W. County Line Road, Lot 391, Greenwood; arrested on a charge of unlawful entry of a motor vehicle; held on $350 bond.

Alexander Maurice Dixon, 21, 2205 Village Crossing Drive E., Apt. F, Greenwood; arrested on charges of domestic battery, criminal confinement and strangulation; held without bond.

Michael Shane Weddle, 28, 206 Franklin St., Edinburgh; arrested on a charge of disorderly conduct; released on $1,000 bond.

Roberto Bernal Gallegos, 20, 8749 Saint Peters St., Apt. 2, Indianapolis; arrested on a warrant for failure to appear in court and possession of marijuana/hashish and possession of paraphernalia; held on $2,250 bond.

Donnie Lucas Goff Jr., 37, 506 Franklin St., Edinburgh; arrested on a charge of disorderly conduct; released on $1,000 bond.

Nicholas W. Harlow, 25, 15 N. Forsythe St., Franklin; arrested on a charge of criminal trespass; held on $2,000 bond.

Donna Jo Burton, 38, 826 15th St., Columbus; arrested on charges of public intoxication, disorderly conduct, criminal mischief and residential entry; held on $4,200 bond.
