NEW WHITELAND
Marlene Marsh, 65, of New Whiteland, died on Friday, Sept. 9, 2016, in Indianapolis.
Marlene was born Aug. 10, 1951, to Cleo and Edith (Kessinger) Hestan in Franklin. They preceded her in death.
Marlene loved to read, collect angels, be active on her iPad daily, watch religious television programs, and tend the roses around her home.
Marlene is survived by her husband, Gary Marsh of New Whiteland; three children, Melissa Depew of New Whiteland, Stacey (Bryon) Staats and Lori (Ryan) Goens, both of Greenwood, five sisters, Wyonna (John) Brown of Illinois, Penny (Jim) Luttrell of Greenwood, Jackie (Jim) Short of Indianapolis, Linda Hestan of Indiana, and Lisa (John) Knight of Kentucky; two brothers, Jimmy (Emily) Hudson of Bargersville and Carl (Angie) Hestan of Whiteland; five grandchildren, Christian and Amber Marsh, Jackob Duff, Baily Staats and Jenese Marsh, and four great-grandchildren, Brenden Cade, Jordyn Marsh, Gunner Neville and Harper Marsh.
The family is hosting a visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Jessen Funeral Home, Whiteland Chapel., 729 U.S. 31 North. A funeral service will follow at 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
