Walkers can stroll around a local hospital and learn about health issues at the same time.
Franciscan Health is hosting a “Walk with a Doc” session at 9 a.m. today at the 8111 S. Emerson Ave., campus.
Following simple health screenings by staff, the walk will be along the Franciscan Fitness Trail, which circles the hospital’s campus.
Additional walks are on Saturdays until Nov. 19.
