Greenwood woman part of new online boutique
A Greenwood woman is co-owner of a new online boutique that specializes in petite clothing.
J&J Petite Boutique’s products at jjpetite.com are aimed at selling styles that flatter petite physiques, according to a statement from the company.
Petite women (5 feet 2 inches to 5 feet 4 inches tall) and extra petite (4 feet 11 inches to 5 feet 1 inch tall) are the targeted customer base.
The boutique aims to find pieces that have a unique or vintage look, and that can be that can be mixed and matched with other items in the online store, according to the statement.
Co-owner Jennifer Alter grew up in Greenwood and now lives in Westfield. Co-owner JoLynda Wilson lives in Greenwood.
Free dentistry day at Franklin Family Dentistry
Franklin Family Dentistry will host a free family dentistry day on Sept. 23.
During the second annual Dentistry From The Heart event, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., the staff will offer a free cleaning, filling or extraction to those in need over the age of 18.
Services are available on a first come, first serve basis. Registration begins at 7:30 a.m. The event is open to any uninsured adults in Johnson County. Proof of residency required.
