Phyllis Jean Hall

MILROY

Phyllis Jean Hall, 85, of Milroy, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 7, 2016, at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility.

She was born June 25, 1931, to Edgar Leffler and Vassie Henderson Leffler in Rushville. She married Donald Hall on Sept. 13, 1950. He preceded her in death in November 2008.

Survivors include three children; Glenda Harmon; and her husband, Mike of Shelbyville; Glenn “Joe” Hall of Milroy; and Gary Hall of Indianapolis; eight siblings, Anna Schuck of Fishers, Sharon Hathaway and husband, Paul, of North Carolina, Clara Warren and husband, Wayne, of Missouri, Bill Leffler of San Diego, California, Katie Shepherd of North Vernon, Donnie Leffler of Indianapolis and Ellen Daniels of Shelbyville; three grandchildren, Misty Deaton, Joe Hall and Nick Hall and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brothers, Sonny Leffler and David Leffler; and sister, Patricia Carman.

Mrs. Hall lived in Milroy most of her life after moving from Shelbyville.

She was a high school graduate.

Mrs. Hall worked in the factory at GE/Wellman Thermal System. She was a member of the Moscow Christian Church and Friends of the Home Ec Club.

Phyllis enjoyed crocheting and spending time with her family.

Visitation will be from noon to 1 p.m. Saturday at Glenn E. George Funeral Home, 106 E. Franklin St., St Paul. A funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. Burial will be at Moscow Cemetery in Rush County.
