NAPA Auto Parts requests use of former construction rental property

An store is planned for a vacant building in Franklin.

NAPA Auto Parts has requested a use variance from the Franklin Board of Zoning Appeals to move into the formerĀ Grand Rental Station at 110 Commerce Drive.

The NAPA store would use the entire 7,200-square-foot building, with 2,500 square feet of retail space, up to five employees and two delivery vehicles.

Grand Rental Station rented construction and yard equipment, party supplies and moving trucks. It closed November 2015 after the retirement of its owners.
