INDIANAPOLIS
Mildred A. Northern, 87, of Indianapolis, died Tuesday, Sept. 6, 2016.
Survivors include her children, Peggy Roberts, Elizabeth Sloan, Dwight Northern, Curtis Northern; 16 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Northern; daughter, Mary Sloan.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at G.H. Herrmann Greenwood Funeral Home, 1605 State Road 135 South and Olive Branch Road. A funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens
