Franklin Heritage Inc. is hosting the Historic Home Tour for 2016 this month.
Renovated and remodeled historic homes and businesses will be open for the tour Sept. 17 and 18. The tour has been presented every other year since its inception in the 1980s. In 2014, more than 700 people attended the two-day event.
Franklin’s rich history and business growth will be highlighted. In addition to the homes, the Artcraft Theatre, Madison Street Salvage and the Varynit Garmet Factory will be included this year.
Jivy’s BBQ will be on site at 350 E. Madison St. (Madison Street Salvage) selling food.

Tickets for the 2016 Historic Home Tour are $15 for adults and $10 for kids 12 and younger. Franklin Heritage Inc. members receive a $5 discount per ticket.
