Police are investigating after a Greenwood car wash was robbed at knifepoint.
Greenwood police were called to the Rama Car Wash, located at 560 N. State Road 135, at 9:30 p.m. Sunday.
The clerk told police a man came inside the car wash, showed her a knife and demanded cash. When she couldn’t open the register fast enough, he told her to hurry up, the report said.
The man then left with the cash. A sheriff’s deputy in the area and the clerk’s husband both saw the man, who they said was wearing a black hat and bandana covering his face, the report said.
Police are investigating and are getting surveillance video from the car wash.
