Theft

1400 block of Hurricane Road: A man reported at 1:43 a.m. Tuesday that someone cut copper wire from a cell tower.

Criminal mischief

  • 3900 block of Tamra Way: A woman reported at 10:23 a.m. Monday that someone smashed the windshield on her car.
  • 1100 block of Hospital Road: Police responded at 5:12 p.m. Monday to a report of criminal mischief.
  • 500 block of E. King Street: A woman reported at 9:39 p.m. Monday that someone threw a brick through her window.

Intoxication

1800 block of Churchill Road: Police responded at 5:30 p.m. Sunday to a report of a motorist hitting a garage door.

Personal-injury accident

1:50 a.m. Monday — U.S. 31 and Earlywood Drive. Jeffrey R. Roach, 25, Franklin and Deborah J. Norman, 60, Franklin. Norman reported neck pain. Passenger Jennifer J. Hinton, 46, Franklin reported hip/upper leg pain.

  • 8:33 p.m. Saturday — Brookstone Drive and Bridlewood Drive.
  • 5:45 p.m. Saturday — State Street and E. Cornerstone Drive.

  • Bob Evans, 159 Marlin Drive: Police responded at 2:46 p.m. Monday to a report of a car window busted out.
  • 900 block of Wallington Circle: Police responded at 7:38 a.m. Tuesday to a report of a vehicle that had been keyed.

Burglary

1800 block of Meyer Street: Police responded at 1:36 p.m. Monday to a report of burglary.

Battery

300 block of Melody Lane: Police responded at 12:27 p.m. Monday to a report of battery.

Suspicious

800 block of Dover Drive: A woman reported at 5:21 p.m. Friday that someone left a cake outside her door.

Thefts

  • 2600 block of Belmont Drive: Police responded at 7:12 p.m. Monday to a report of theft.
  • 2800 block of Treehouse Pass: A man reported at 3:59 p.m. Monday that someone entered the vehicle and stole $100 in change, a bottle of cologne, several checkbooks, a tablet computer, and a home security system.

Criminal mischief

700 block of Leisure Lane, Greenwood: A woman reported at 8:20 a.m. Saturday that someone threw eggs at her house and car.

Burglary

5000 block of E. County Road 700N., Franklin: A man reported at 8:22 a.m. Saturday that someone entered several buildings on his property and stole a rototiller, push lawnmower, weed eater, two wrenches and an air compressor.

Domestic

6800 block of Walker Street, Greenwood: A woman reported at 7:39 p.m. Saturday that an acquaintance grabber her jaw and pushed her on the couch.

Randy Scott Colburn Jr., 40, 315 Holland St., Edinburgh; arrested on charges of escape, violation of community corrections and bond forfeiture; held without bond.

Cody A. Heaster, 30, 1123 Auburn St., Indianapolis; arrested on a warrant for failure to appear in court; held on $668 bond.

Austin C. Simpsons Stephens, 18, 250 Hurricane St., Franklin; arrested on charges of possession of marijuana/hashish and possession of paraphernalia; held on $2,000 bond.
