GREENWOOD
Patsy Ann Micek, 86, of Greenwood, passed away Sunday, Sept. 4, 2016 at Indiana University Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.
She was born Jan. 19, 1930 in Alhambra, California to Harry and Effie (Sutton) Ivory.
She married Richard Dale Micek on Aug. 20, 1949 in San Gabriel, California, he preceded her in death on Dec. 21, 2002.
She was a homemaker. She enjoyed reading, watching television, traveling, and enjoyed “Winter White” wine. She especially was appreciative and loved everything to do with hummingbirds.
She was a very loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.
Survivors include her two daughters, Kemberly Johnson (Todd) of Greenwood and Christine Kaeding (Jerry) of Bull Shoals, Arkansas; four grandchildren, Andrea Marie Hubert (Mark) of Oakley, Kansas, Deborah Marie Whisenant (Robert) of Salt Lake City, Utah, Tracy Johnson of Salt Lake City, Utah and Christina Wood (David) of Corona, California; two great grandchildren, Maddox Hubert and Mackenzie Hubert; a sister, Helen Hunt (David) of Lyons, Oregon and a sister in-law, Roberta Ivory of Hesperia, California.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband and a brother, Donald Ivory.
Dr. John Shafer will conduct a memorial service at 2 p.m. Friday at Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center, 300 South U.S. 31 (Morton Street) in Franklin. A reception will immediately follow the service at the mortuary
