<div>A Greenwood man died after suffering injuries in a crash on Interstate 65 <span class="aBn"><span class="aQJ">on Tuesday</span></span>.</div>

Jared Crump, 25, died early <span class="aBn"><span class="aQJ">Wednesday</span></span> morning at Eskenazi Hospital in Indianapolis, according to a news release from Indiana State Police.

Police said Crump had been driving a dump truck south on I-65 near downtown at <span class="aBn"><span class="aQJ">3:45 p.m.</span></span> <span class="aBn"><span class="aQJ">Tuesday</span></span>, when his vehicle struck a semi that was stopped in traffic. The crash closed all lanes of southbound I-65 for a few hours.

A passenger in the dump truck, Nathan Davis, 21, Indianapolis, was also injured and is listed in serious condition at Eskenazi Hospital, the release said.

Both men had to be removed from the truck.

The driver of the semi was not injured.
