2000 block of Cedar Lane: A man reported at 2:32 p.m. Tuesday that he received a call from a man purporting to have a government grant and advised the man to get money to pay taxes. The call was fraudulent.

- 1300 block of O’Dell Lane: A man reported at 10:54 a.m. Wednesday that two packages were stolen from his porch.
- 1100 block of Central Park Boulevard: A woman reported at 12:45 p.m. Wednesday that a relative stole two televisions and a tablet from another relative’s home.
- LA Fitness, 540 N. State Road 135: Police responded at 5:31 p.m. Wednesday to a report of a stolen cellphone.

7700 block of E. County Road 1000N, Acton: A man reported at 12:05 p.m. Wednesday that his bank card was used fraudulently in Fort Wayne.

1:26 p.m. Wednesday — Morgantown Road and Stones Crossing Road, Greenwood.
Recovered vehicle
5000 block of West Smith Valley Road, Greenwood: An officer ran the plates of a motorist who was acting suspicious at a gas station. The car was registered as stolen. The officer also found a capped needle in the vehicle. He was arrested.
