INDIANAPOLIS
Charles Lawrence Messer, 65, of Indianapolis, died Monday, Aug. 29, 2016.
Survivors include his wife, Diana Messer; son, Michael Messer; stepsons, Nicholas Broering and Jason Hillenburg; four siblings, Gary Messer, Marcia Jenkins, Karen Sims and Sandy Frame; and two stepgrandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his son, Matthew Messer.
Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at G.H. Herrmann Madison Avenue Funeral Home, 5141 Madison Ave., Indianapolis, with the service at 7 p.m.
Memorial contributions may be made to March of Dimes or the Leukemia Foundation.
