Trojans win fourth straight
Center Grove got goals from Emily Jansen, Kelli Hippenmeyer and Kailee Joseph in a 3-1 victory against North Central.
Gracyn Montfort had two assists, and Emmie Ward added one for the Trojans (4-0, 3-0 Metropolitan Interscholastic Conference).
Greenwood remains perfect
Kayla Rance scored the game’s lone goal to lift Greenwood to a 1-0 victory at Mooresville in Mid-State Conference action.
The Woodmen (5-0) play at Knightstown on Saturday.

Rebels edge Park Tudor
Goals by Robert Thang and Henry Sang lifted Roncalli to a 2-1 victory against Park Tudor on Wednesday. The victory was the team’s first win of the season.
Andrew Nelis and Mateo Gonzales had assists for the Rebels (1-3-1).
Volleyball
Warriors swept by Flashes
Whiteland was defeated by Franklin Central on Wednesday, 25-16, 25-14, 25-14. Elaina Robards had six digs in a losing effort for the Warriors.
Woodmen suffer road loss
Greenwood was swept at Mid-State Conference rival Mooresville on Tuesday night, dropping a 25-20, 25-11, 25-19 decision.
Alyssa Stilley had five kills for the Woodmen (2-7), while Camryn LaMonaca added four kills and nine digs.
Rebels beaten by Cathedral
Roncalli lost to top-ranked Cathedral in four games on Tuesday, 11-25, 21-25, 25-21, 14-25.
Setters Amelia Banister and Lauren Fey combined for 29 assists, 15 digs and two aces in defeat. Victoria Annee added 21 digs.
Girls golf
Trojans win three-way
Center Grove posted a winning team score of 168 at Smock Golf Course on Wednesday, outpacing Perry Meridian (178) and Roncalli (188).
Shelby Schier led the Trojans with a round of 39. Lucy Young (42), Hannah Wilson (43) and Ashley Voyles (44) rounded out the scoring for the victors.
Lancers top Triton Central
Vanessa McManaway’s 48 earned medalist honors and lifted Edinburgh to a 221-251 victory against Triton Central at Bear Chase on Wednesday.
Kierra Richards shot 55 for the Lancers, who also got a 58 from Madison Giles and a 60 from Savannah Kellams.
Columbus North tops Roncalli
Roncalli fell to Columbus North, 151-198, Tuesday at Harrison Lake Country Club.
Annie Sullivan led the Rebels with a 44, while Sophia Egold shot 46. Nicole Clifford, Kami Koors and Kathleen Ameis each finished with a 54.

Warriors rebound with win
After suffering a 4-1 loss to Franklin on Tuesday, its first of the year, Whiteland bounced back with a 4-1 victory against Greenfield on Wednesday afternoon.
Adam Zietlow and Corey Ullrich notched singles wins for the Warriors (7-1). Garrison Pelfree and Ricardo Gonzalez were victorious at No. 1 doubles, and Nolan Lee and Grant Cloud won at No. 2 doubles.
Braves edged by Eagles
Indian Creek came up just short in a Western Indiana Conference match at Brown County, taking a 3-2 defeat.
The Braves (5-4, 2-1 WIC) got a win from Dalton Campbell at No. 3 singles as well as a victory by Bryce Waddell and Scott Russell at first doubles.
Woodmen handed first loss
Greenwood fell from the ranks of the unbeaten Wednesday, losing at home to Bloomington North, 5-0. The Woodmen (4-1) host league foe Decatur Central today.
Rebels blank Lutheran
Roncalli was the 5-0 winner against Indianapolis Lutheran on Wednesday.
