Jack Douglas Anderson

Jack Douglas Anderson, 72, passed away on Saturday, Aug. 27, 2016, in Franklin. He was a resident of Franklin.

He was born on Aug. 19, 1944, in Indianapolis, to Jess and B. Fern (Kelly) Anderson.

Jack is survived by one daughter, Adina Anderson of Greenwood, and one brother, Ted (Kay) Anderson of Greenwood.

He was preceded in passing by his parents and Adina’s mother, Pamela Lee (Polaski) Anderson.

Jack was a 1962 graduate of Franklin Community High School and graduated from West Palm Beach Jr. College earning his associate’s degree.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force serving from 1966 to 1970, during the Vietnam War.

He was employed by Allis-Chalmers in Indianapolis in district sales for several years.

He was a member of the Tabernacle Christian Church in Franklin.

Jack was an avid golfer.

The Rev. Bill Horner will conduct a celebration of Jack’s life at 6 p.m. on Wednesday at Flinn & Maguire Funeral Home, 2898 N. Morton St. (U.S. 31 North) in Franklin. Friends may call from 4 p.m. until the time of service Wednesday at the funeral home.
