INDIANAPOLIS
John Copeland Holmes, 91, died Thursday, Aug. 25, 2016, in Franklin. He was a resident of Indianapolis.
Survivors include two daughters, Suzy Mills (Carl) of Carmel and Kathy Emison (Jim) of Birmingham, Alabama; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Sara Jane Lowden Holmes.
A graveside service and burial will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday at Green Lawn Cemetery, Frankfort.
Funeral arrangements are being handled by Flinn and Maguire Funeral Home, Franklin.
Contributions may be made to the Indiana Masonic Home or to the charity of donor’s choice.
