Aidan James Kerry, 11, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 24, 2016, at Johnson Memorial Hospital in Franklin. He was a resident of Franklin.

Aidan was born on Feb. 14, 2005, by the grace of God, to Jason Charles and Kate Marie (Weimer) Kerry.

Survivors include his parents Jason and Kate Kerry; maternal grandparents, David and Mary Beth Piland; paternal grandparents, Tim and Cyndi Eberhart; maternal great-grandmother, Rita Kriech; bonus great-grandparents, Kenton and Janice Rawlinson; aunts and uncles Jennifer “Nen” and Dave Cataldi, Jeremy Weimer, Regina Piland, Angie and Jeremy Basso; cousin Gavin Basso; and multiple great-aunts, -uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in passing by his best corgi “Darby.”

Aidan was a sixth-grade student at Custer Baker Intermediate School.

He enjoyed percussion, video games, dressing up for Gen Con, driving/crashing his golf cart, going to the Children’s Museum, playing board games, going to the movies, eating chocolate chip cookies, drinking soccer boy Capri Suns and making everyone smile.

A mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Our Lady of Greenwood Catholic Church, 335 S. Meridian St. Greenwood, IN  Friends may call from 1 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Flinn & Maguire Funeral Home, 2898 North Morton Street (U.S. 31 North), in Franklin, Indiana. Burial will be at Greenlawn Cemetery immediately following church services.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Ronald McDonald House, Riley Hospital for Children, 705 Riley Hospital Drive, Indianapolis, IN 46202 and/or to the Franklin Community School Band Boosters, 101 W. State Road 44, Franklin, IN 46131.
