Margaret A. Mullins, 93, of Indianapolis, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 23, 2016.
She was born April 30, 1923, in Coal City, West Virginia, to Leonard and Viola Shrewsbury, both preceding her in death.
Margaret was the president of the Ladies Auxiliary, Post 5864.
She enjoyed quilting, needlepoint and reading.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Lawrence Harrol Mullins; son, Roger Lee Mullins; seven brothers and sisters; and one grandchild.
Margaret is survived by her son, Lawrence Harrol Mullins Jr. (Katherine Woolridge), daughters, Vicki Lynn Mullins, Paula Kay (Patrick, deceased) Anglin and Connie Sue (Ronald E. Spratt Sr., deceased) Spratt; sister, Irma Lee Abbott; 12 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be noon until the time of the funeral service at 2 p.m. Monday at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1977 S. State Road 135, Greenwood.
