Center Grove High School’s mechanically minded robotics team will offer the community a glimpse of their design skills and show off their robotic creations on Saturday at the STEM fair.
From 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Center Grove Middle School North, visitors can try hands-on science and technology activities, watch a drone demo and learn more about STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) careers.
The community is invited and there is no admission. The school is at 202 N. Morgantown Road, Greenwood.
Food will be available from Johnson’s BBQ Shack and Ella’s Frozen Yogurt.

FIRST Team 1741 Red Alert Robotics is located at Center Grove High School and was established in March 2005. Red Alert has focused on spreading the mission of FIRST, “To inspire young people to be science and technology leaders by engaging them in exciting mentor-based programs that build science, engineering and technology skills that inspire innovation and that foster well-rounded life capabilities including self-confidence, communication and leadership.”
