Noble R. Nash

CONCORD, N.C.

Noble R. Nash, 70, passed away Monday, Aug. 22, 2016, in his home in Concord, North Carolina. He was a resident of Concord, and a former resident of Franklin, Whiteland, Greenwood and Indianapolis.

He was born Dec. 20, 1945, in Danville, Illinois and graduated in Indiana from Franklin High School in 1964.

His parents were Louis V. and Ruth (Hosford) Nash.

He is survived by his son, Richard Allen Nash of Concord, North Carolina; daughter, Wendy Carrie Maar of Indianapolis; brother, Steven John Nash of Punta Gorda, Florida; sister, Bunny Suzanne Nash of Concord, North Carolina; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

He was a proud Freemason, obtaining Master Mason on Dec. 28, 1989, from Brownsburg Lodge, No. 241.

In high school, he was a member of the Franklin football and diving teams.

Following high school, he worked as an Insurance Agent for Bituminous Insurance Co., played bass guitar in The Sight and Sound band, was a member of the Whiteland Jaycees, and eventually found his passion in painting residential properties and businesses.

He was a very proud member of the team that painted the Levine Children’s Hospital in Charlotte, North Carolina.

He loved the outdoors, camping and spending time on the lake.

There will be no services.

Wilkinson Funeral Home in Concord, North Carolina is handling the arrangements.
