A New Whiteland man was arrested after police said he fondled a girl who has a disability.
Jason Kolt Allen Andrews, 19, 48 Whiteland Road, was arrested on a charge of sexual battery.
A woman reported that Andrews was watching her teenage daughter who has autism while she went to the hospital to visit a sick acquaintance. When she returned home, her daughter was not wearing a bra and told her Andrews had taken it off, according to the New Whiteland Police Department report.
Andrews initially told police the girl asked him to help her take off her clothes so she could shower. But he later said he had fondled the girl, the report said.
Andrews was taken to the Johnson County jail, where he was held on $1,200 bond.
