Eva Jane Sears, 90, of Franklin, passed away on Saturday, Aug. 20, 2016, at Homeview Health and Rehabilitation Center in Franklin.
She was born Aug. 1, 1926, in Paris, Illinois. She was the daughter of Henry A. and Minnie M. (Cartright) Sears.
She is survived by a sister-in-law, Betty Sears of Edinburgh; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by brothers, Carroll Sears and Willard Sears, and a sister, Edna Sanders.
She loved her family, friends, attending church, listening to Gospel music and her farm in Paris, Illinois.
The funeral service will be conducted by the Rev. Fred Brown at 2 p.m., with calling from noon until the service time on Tuesday at Eskew-Eaton Funeral Home, 302 E. Main Cross St., Edinburgh. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh.
