A local Moose lodge is planning a slice of nostalgia later this month.
Greenwood Moose Lodge, 813 W. Smith Valley Road, is hosting a 1960s-style Sock Hop.
Dancers can twist and shake at 7 p.m. Aug. 27 to Twisted Gold, a ’60s tribute band.
Members can attend for $3. Nonmembers are $5.
The event will honor Don Hohlt and the Whiteland Barn.
