Sutton Piercefield fired a 1-under-par 33 to lead the Greenwood Christian boys to an easy 150-187 win over Southport at Southern Dunes on Tuesday. Ian Reed shot a 37 for GCA, followed by Corn Bauschek (39) and Evan Stinnett (41).
Shepherd named to Cup team
Center Grove graduate and Duke sophomore Erica Shepherd was among the players named to represent the United States at the Arnold Palmer Cup, which will take place June 11-13 at Rich Harvest Farms in Sugar Grove, Illinois.
