Moscow Ballet looking for dancers

The Moscow Ballet is seeking student dancers to audition to perform side by side with the professional company during its “Great Russian Nutcracker” in Indianapolis on Nov. 27.

The selected children will perform at the Murat Theatre at Old National Center. Moscow Ballet soloist and audition director Anna Radik will conduct auditions at 5 p.m. Sept. 6 in the ballet’s local host dance studio, Stage 1 Dance Academy, 740 Fry Road Suite D, in Greenwood.

Student dancers — boys and girls, ages 7 to 17 years old, who have at least one year of ballet training — may audition for ancillary roles such as party children, mice, snowflakes and angels. The auditions are free, though there may be a casting fee.
