Priscilla Ann Abercrombie

FRANKLIN

Priscilla Ann Abercrombie, 74, passed away peacefully Tuesday, Aug. 16, 2016, in Franklin. She was a lifelong resident of Franklin.

She was born Jan. 7, 1942, in Franklin to Lennis and Johna Mae (Jewell) Bowman.

She married Charles “Barry” Abercrombie on Feb. 14, 1964. He preceded her in passing on April 22, 2009.

Priscilla is survived by her two loving daughters, Libby (Mike) Deckard of Franklin and Sara (Kerry) Atwood of Franklin; grandchildren, Josh (Brett) Deckard, Jenny (John) Branstetter, Jake (Molly) Deckard, Cassie (Kortea) Johnson and Janelle (John) Rowe. Also surviving are great-grandchildren, Katie, Michaela, Wyatt, Riley, Drew, Brooklynn, Evan, Makenzie, Kilee and Easton.

She was preceded in passing by her parents; and husband, Barry.

She was a graduate of Franklin Community High School.

Priscilla was a homemaker.

She attended the Assembly of God Church, where she taught Sunday School for several years. She also led many Youth Group Programs at the Church over the years.

Brother John Stephenson will conduct a celebration of life service at 11 a.m. Saturday at Apostolic Gospel Church, 5557 E. State Road 44, Franklin. Friends may call from 10 a.m. until the service time Saturday at the church. Burial will be at Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin.

Flinn and Maguire Funeral Home in Franklin is handling arrangements.
