Shirley Maxine Wilson, 92, of Indianapolis, passed away Saturday, Aug. 13, 2016.
Shirley was born Aug. 28, 1923, in Indianapolis, to the late Orin Webster and Lillie K. (Bader) Stotler.
She worked for Eli Lilly for a short time and then was a homemaker.
She was a member of St. Timothy’s Episcopal Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles William Wilson; granddaughter, Betsy Jo Marker; and three sisters.
She is survived by her children, Linda J. (Larry) Marker and Peggy S. Ray; two grandchildren, Meghann (Brandon) Shropshire and William D. Marker; and four great-grandchildren, Logann, Jacob, Shelby and Sophia.
The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service & Crematory – Greenwood Chapel, 481 W. Main St., with calling one hour prior. Burial will at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens Cemetery.
