Dolores Gibson Osborne, 83, of Indianapolis, passed away Saturday, Aug. 13, 2016.

Dolores was born Oct. 7, 1932, in Indianapolis, to the late Charles William and Gladys (Wolf) Bear.

She graduated from St. Mary’s Academy in 1951.

Dolores was a member of Our Lady of Greenwood Catholic Church for many years and was active in the choir, playing the organ for many years. She was also active in the Catholic Center with Senior Companion Program.

Dolores was a LPN and worked for St. Francis Hospital in Beech Grove for 15 years, retiring in 1992.

Dolores is survived by her children, Gayle (Tony) Wray, Greg Gibson and Lori (Ed) Westerfield; sister, Betty Little; nine grandchildren, Amanda, Alex, Crystal, Andrew, Ryleigh, Brandy, Jason, Josh and Courtney; eight great-grandchildren, Isaiah, Lilah, Jordan, Destiney, Brittney, Brandon, Brody and Harper; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Barbara Laffin.

A mass will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Our Lady of the Greenwood Catholic Church, 335 S. Meridian St., with visitation from 9 to 11 a.m. Burial will be at Holy Cross Cemetery in Indianapolis.
