FRANKLIN
Arne Kenneth Akers, 69, died Friday, Aug. 12, 2016, at his residence in Franklin.
He is survived by his wife, Carol Carpenter; his children, Carrie (Adam) McKee, Aaron (Colleen) Akers and Brian Akers; six grandchildren; two sisters, Jean (Mort) Scrougham and Shirley (Ed) Christiensen; and one brother, Wallace (Carol) Akers.
A celebration of life will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Flinn and Maguire Funeral Home, 2898 N. Morton St. (U.S. 31 North) in Franklin. Friends may call from 11 a.m. until the time of service Saturday at the funeral home.
