John Michael Cravens

John Michael Cravens, 65, of Greenwood, passed away on Thursday, Aug. 11, 2016, at his residence.

He was born on May 3, 1951, in Whidbey Island, Washington to the late John Michael and Clara Colleen (Bruner) Cravens.

Michael was employed as a materials manager for Rolls Royce for 28 years and Ryder Logistics for eight years.

He graduated from Southport High School and Indiana University.

He was a member of the Mount Pleasant Christian Church.

Michael enjoyed church activities, stocks, target shooting and spending time with his family and friends.

Michael is survived by his wife, Linda (Rhodes) Cravens; children, Andrew (Rachel) Cravens of Greenwood, Jill (Neil) Garland of Liberty Township, Ohio, Eric (Heather) Morrow of Cleveland, North Carolina and Melissa Morrow of Nineveh; sister, Debbie Cravens of Indianapolis; grandchildren, Maximus, Abigail, Anna, Savannah, Emily, Zach, Katelyn, Melayna and Ariana.

Services for Michael will be at 10 a.m. on Thursday at Mount Pleasant Christian Church 381 N. Bluff Road, Greenwood, with Pastor Chris Philbeck officiating. Entombment will be at Forest Lawn Cemetery.

Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday with a 7 p.m. Masonic service by the Jubilee Masonic Lodge No. 747 F&AM at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service & Crematory, 481 W. Main St., Greenwood.
