David A. “Bubby” Johnson Sr., 48, of Bargersville, passed away Tuesday Aug. 9, 2016, in Franklin.
David was born Jan. 25, 1968, in Indianapolis, to Richard and Etta (McFerron) Johnson.
He married Laura Henry in Indianapolis on Nov. 26, 1988. They were married for 27 years.
David was co-owner of J & G Painting, where he was a production and commercial painter.
He enjoyed camping, fishing, coaching his sons in baseball and basketball, and taking rides with his dog Chico in the truck.
David loved spending time with his sons and family.
Survivors include his wife, Laura Johnson of Bargersville; parents, Richard and Etta Johnson of Indianapolis; two sons, David Johnson Jr. of Franklin and Brandon Johnson of Bargersville; and two sisters, Regena (James) Patton of Franklin and Karen (George) Kofas of Florida.
A funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday at Jessen Funeral Home, Whiteland Chapel, 729 U.S. 31 North, with visitation from 11 a.m. until service time Saturday the funeral home.
