The Johnson County Animal shelter will offer extended hours today for a singles night, for both people and potential pets.
Unmarried people can meet other single people, and adoption-eligible cats and dogs, too.
The event will be 6 to 7:30 p.m. There also will be snacks, non-alcoholic drinks and plenty of animals to meet.
The shelter is at 2160 Graham Road, Franklin.
