GREENWOOD
William “Bill” Shores, 87, of Greenwood, passed away Monday, Aug. 8, 2016.
He was born March 29, 1929, to Howard and Gladys Shores in Clinton.
Bill served in the U.S. Navy and retired from a long career with The Indianapolis Star newspaper.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Barbara; and his daughter, Tara Jo Lemrick of Dallas, Texas.
Visitation will be from noon until time of service at 1:30 p.m. today at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1977 S. State Road 135, Greenwood. A graveside service will immediately follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
