INDIANAPOLIS
Mr. Linzie Price, 81, of Indianapolis, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 9, 2016.
He was born Sept. 1, 1934, in Sinking Valley, Kentucky, the son of Lou Gene Price and Sophia Whitaker. He married Emma Faye Sears on May 18, 1956, and she preceded him in death May 28, 2004. He married Beverly A. Pitman Bauman on April 23, 2005, who survives.
Linzie attended the Fellowship Baptist Church, Trafalgar, and was a member of Lynhurst Masonic Lodge and Scottish Rite, Indianapolis.
He retired from Bridgeport Brass in 1997 and was most recently working in supervision for CVS in Franklin and Whiteland.
Survivors include his wife, Beverly Bauman Price; daughters, Lisa Faye Price (Sandy Wheeler), Diana Law (Glen), Pamela Mitchell (Jim) and Lisa Phillips (Mark); six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Linzie was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Emma Faye; son, Kevin; two brothers, five sisters; and one grandchild.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m., with a Masonic service at 7 p.m. Friday, at G.H. Herrmann Funeral Home, 1605 S. State Road 135, Greenwood. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Funeral Home with interment in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Greenwood.
