Woodmen golfers fall short against New Pal

Despite scores of 44 by both Julianna Lamey and Laila Stein, the Greenwood girls golf team lost to New Palestine on Tuesday, 157-180.The Woodmen also received 46s from Maecee Terhune and Taylor Watson. Also for Greenwood, Maeci West shot 50 and Bridget Lindstrom 52.

New Palestine’s Mackenzie Black picked up medalist honors with a 36.

Hill leads Lancers in win against Southwestern

Kenzie Hill fired a 42 on Tuesday to lead the Edinburgh girls golf team past Southwestern (Shelby) 202-211 at Cypress Run Golf Course in Franklin.Junior Vanessa McManaway also played a solid round for the Lancers with a 49. Savannah Kellams contributed a 55 to Edinburgh’s final tally, with Kierra Richards a shot back at 56.
