Shirley Green and Marylynne Winslow recently represented Nu Tau Chapter, Greenwood, at the 108th national convention of Delta Theta Tau Sorority in South Bend.
Delegates from 73 of the 84 chapters nationwide attended.
Nu Tau chapter raised $17,800 and volunteered 2,471 hours, which earned them special recognition at the convention. The only fundraiser for Nu Tau Chapter is the annual arts and craft fair, which is scheduled for Nov. 26 at Beech Grove High School.
Delta Theta Tau, a National Philanthropic Sorority, was founded in 1903 in Muncie, by five high school girls.
