INDIANAPOLIS
Marianne S. Windgate, 76, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 3, 2016. She was a resident of Indianapolis.
She was born Dec. 26, 1939, in Indianapolis, to the late Lowell and Arlene (Golay) Sutton.
Her memory and legacy carry on through her son, Tim Windgate; grandchildren, Jasmine, Brandon, Hannah, Caden and Lili; brother, David (Joyce) Sutton; and sisters-in-law, Lady Ann Sutton and Jane Sutton.
Marianne was preceded in death by her brothers, Clyde and Max Sutton; and sisters, Joanne Sutton and Linda Keller.
Marianne was member of the Southport Group and Keenagers.
She enjoyed volunteering with the Boy Scouts and her grandchildren’s schools, traveling, gardening and spending time with her grandchildren.
A service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday at Simplicity Funeral & Cremation Care, 7520 Madison Ave., Indianapolis. Friends may visit from 3 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
