The 11th annual Johnson County Sheriff’s Ride is set for Aug. 27. Proceeds will benefit a number of local nonprofits.
The ride leaves from the Franklin Walmart store parking lot at 2125 N. Morton St. Registration will be 8 to 10 a.m., and the ride will leave promptly at 10:30 a.m. rain or shine.
Cost is $35 per bike for a single rider and $45 with a passenger.
Lunch and dinner will be provided.

A $400 cash prize will be awarded for best poker hand and there are many opportunities for door and raffle prizes.
Proceeds will benefit local Johnson County charities such as Johnson County Community Foundation, Special Olympics, Senior Services, Habitat for Humanity and more.
