James William “Jim” Yates, 30, died Friday, July 29, 2016, in Indianapolis. He was a resident of Indianapolis.
He is survived by his parents, William and Deborah (Schmidt) Yates; and sisters, Rachael (Yates) Pileggi (Benjamin) and Kristen Yates.
A celebration of life service is scheduled for 1 p.m. Saturday at Calvary Lutheran Church, 6111 Shelby St., Indianapolis. Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church.
Singleton Community Mortuary and Memorial Center is assisting with arrangements.
