Man reports psychic scam to police

A man reported to a scam to police after a psychic repeatedly contacted him and told him he owed her money.

The man was first contacted by a woman who claimed to be a medium and seer who said his name had come up at a meeting of psychics as someone who needed help, according to a report filed with the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office.

The letter told the man he had aura friction, which was impacting his life, and that she could help him fix what was wrong in his life for free, the report said.

The man agreed, and signed some paperwork, and then began getting bills. He disputed the bills, and then contacted the sheriff’s office, the report said.

He had not sent the woman any money, the report said.
