Two people were seriously injured in a motorcycle accident on State Road 37 in Bargersville.
The accident happened at the intersection with State Road 144 at 12:45 p.m. Sunday.
Police said the driver of a car ran a red light on State Road 37, and struck a motorcycle on State Road 144, according to a news release from Bargersville police.
Both the motorcycle driver, William R. Dixon, 48, Mooresville, and passenger, Lestra S. Huls, 44, Mooresville, were thrown from the motorcycle. Both were taken to Indiana University Health Methodist Hospital. Huls was taken by medical helicopter, the report said.
The driver of the other vehicle, Wendy A. Wells, 46, Martinsville, and a passenger, Abigail Wells, 15, Martinsville, reported minor injuries, and were treated and released at the scene of the accident.
