Motorcyclist in good condition after crash

A motorcyclist is in good condition after an accident on State Road 135 on Sunday.

At 3:45 p.m., sheriff’s deputies were called to the intersection of State Road 135 and Smokey Row Road, where a motorcycle had been struck by a vehicle.

Witnesses said the car struck the motorcycle from behind, which threw the driver from the bike, the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office report said.

Roger K. Marcum, 58, of Middleton, Ohio, had multiple injuries and was taken to Indiana University Health Methodist Hospital, where he was listed in good condition on Monday, according to a hospital spokesman.

The other driver, Brian B. Osborn, 20, Morgantown, also complained of injuries after his vehicle went off the road. He was treated at an area hospital. His condition was not available on Monday.
