Rosemary Helen Partain, 90, Indianapolis, passed away Friday, July 29, 2016.
She was born in Indianapolis on Aug. 13, 1925, to Denis F. and Georgia Anna Willoughby Morarity. Rosemary was a 1942 graduate of Immaculate Conception Academy in Oldenburg and attended Marian College.
She was a member of Hoosier Capital Girl Scout Council and was active in girl scouting in Shelby County for many years.
She also was a volunteer for SCUFFY (Shelby County United Fund for You). She enjoyed fishing and nature. A beloved mother and grandmother, Rosemary was preceded in death by her husband, Earl C. Partain and is survived by her children, Don F. Partain (Sue), Sharon K. Tussinger (Jack), Kathleen S. Webb (Steven), Mary Anne Davis; grandchildren, Jeffrey Partain, Lori Gregoire, Matthew Partain, Eric C. Webb, Bruce C. Webb, Kaitlyn Davis, Reed Davis; and great grandchildren, Joshua Partain, Kyle Gregoire, Danielle Partain, Jessica Partain, Timothy Gregoire.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday at Our Lady of the Greenwood Catholic Church with visitation at the church beginning at 9 a.m. Entombment will be in Washington Park East Cemetery.
