Johnson County EMT Association is providing training sessions for anyone interested in emergency medicine or for EMTs who need in-service training hours to maintain their certification.
Emergency medicine lectures are provided on the first Monday of the month at the Emergency Operations Center, behind the jail facility. The programs start at 7:30 p.m. and are conducted for two hours of credit. Lectures include many subjects such as childbirth, autism, and handling heart attack patients.
