Whiteland residents asked to boil water after leak

Residents of parts of Whiteland are asked to boil their water for the next week due to a main leak earlier this week.

The residents affected live on Woodruff, Thurman, Ardmoor and Westbrook drives, Hill, Parkway and Arlington streets and Barnett Court. They are being asked to boil their water until Aug. 5. The boil water order is precautionary.

A water main leak on Woodruff Drive on Wednesday caused the problem, according to town officials. Residents may have had little to no water pressure or have noticed a discoloration while the leak was being repaired.
