Second ‘Color the County’ set

Local and experienced color connoisseurs are welcome to help paint a new mural this weekend that will be installed in downtown Franklin.

The Johnson County Community Foundation’s second “Color the County” mural-painting day is Saturday in Franklin.

Everyone is welcome to make their contribution to a mural in downtown Franklin. The painting session will be from 8:30 a.m. to noon on the west side of the courthouse annex building.

The event also will have coloring books, paint sets and face painting for kids, plus easy-to-follow instructions to add your contribution to the mural. No artistic talent is necessary.
