Evelyn LuLu Rose Parmer

EDINBURGH

Evelyn LuLu Rose Parmer, entered eternal life at 2:30 a.m. July 19, 2016, at Simon Cancer Center, at the age of 85. She was a resident of Edinburgh.

She was born July 5, 1931, the daughter of William and Elizabeth Barg Westerfeld.

She married Richard Ivan Parmer on April 15, 1951.

She is survived by her husband, Richard; daughters, Susie (Ken) Pierce of Clinton, Linda (Terry) Burlew of Columbus, Kathy (Mark) Mohr of Greensburg, sons Larry (Angie) Parmer of Waldron, Jerry (Karen) Parmer of Edinburgh, Rick (Stacy) Parmer of Franklin; sister, Ethel Parmer of Columbus; 13 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by six brothers and one sister.

She graduated from New Point High School and was a homemaker.

As a dedicated member of St. George Lutheran Church, she served 33 years on the altar guild and many years as a Sunday school teacher.

She loved flowers, gardening, her loving husband and her No. 1 family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. George Lutheran Church by Pastor Jerry Castleman. Calling will be from 5 until 8 p.m. today at the church and from 9 a.m. until the time of service on Saturday. Burial will be at the St. George Cemetery in Edinburgh.

Memorial contribution may be made to St. George Lutheran Church.
