Residents in a Franklin neighborhood off U.S. 31 woke up to at least five vehicles that had been ransacked overnight.
Between 7:30 and 8 a.m. Monday, officers found five vehicles had been gone through on Churchill Road, in the Lochry neighborhood off U.S. 31 in Franklin.
Residents reported change, cologne, a purse and lawn tools had been taken from the vehicles, according to Franklin Police Department reports.
Officers noticed some vehicle doors were standing open, and alerted the residents, the reports said.
Police are investigating.
