Circle K., 349 U.S. 31: Police responded at 2:58 a.m. Monday to a report of two missing lighters from the gas station. A police officer stopped a suspect vehicle. A woman was arrested for the theft of one lighter and possession charges.
Thefts
Walmart, 2125 U.S. 31 North: A customer reported at 11:36 a.m. Sunday that she saw another customer push a grocery cart full of unpaid items out of the store.
1600 block of Preidt Circle: A woman reported at 7:22 a.m. Monday that a patio umbrella was missing from her property.
Criminal mischief
2200 block of Meadow Glen Boulevard: A couple reported at 10:21 a.m. Saturday that two vehicles on their property were entered.

Rural King, 860 U.S. 31: A man reported at 3:02 p.m. Sunday that he left his phone in a cart. When he returned for the phone, the phone was missing.
Speedway, 1291 N. Madison Ave.: A man reported at 1:31 p.m. Saturday that a man struck the window of his vehicle with a plastic bottle.

6300 block of Deerstand Road, Greenwood: A man and woman reported at 6:17 a.m. Sunday that an acquaintance punched the man in the throat and neck and pushed the woman off of a deck.

6:54 p.m. Friday — 5200 block of E. Rocklane Road, Greenwood. William Hays, 32, Greenwood. Hays reported elbow/lower arm pain.
